The Weather in Corsica
In order for your experience to run to its fullest advantage, one of the important aspects when it comes to getting to know the various monuments, natural outdoor spaces and the entire island is the weather forecast. Thus, your visit will not be missing anything and you will not be surprised by the atmosphere.
As Ajaccio and the south of the island are influenced by a Mediterranean climate, the summer is somewhat dry and the winter calm and mild. The minimum temperature during the year is rarely less than 4ºC and the maximum, in summer, mostly exceeds 30ºC. Snow is not significant, as are snowfalls. On the other hand, thunderstorms, gusts of wind and abundant rain are more favorable in the autumn and spring season.
Below is a table with the various temperatures and precipitation during the respective months.
